The care of your new paint finish in the first 60 days is crucial to its long term appearance and durability.
The following tips should help.

Avoid commercial car washes for 30 days.
Wash your car in the shade, not in the sun.
Thoroughly pre-soak the car with water first.
Use a high quality automotive wash mitt instead of a sponge.
Do not use household detergents. Use an automotive car wash solution.
Rinse the car afterwards with cold water.
Dry it with a chamois or soft towel. Never dry wipe it with a dry cloth.
Do not wax or polish it for 60 days.
Avoid extreme heat or cold temperatures. In hot weather, keep your car in the shade.
Immediately rinse off tree sap, bird droppings, oil or gasoline with water.
Avoid driving on roads with loose stones or gravel.
If you must drive on these roads, maintain a larger than normal space between the other cars.
Avoid parking near sources of salt spray, heavy smoke or other industrial fallout.
Lightly brush ice and snow from painted surfaces. Do not scrape.

Follow these tips and your new finish will look good for years to come!
